Verge Books, based in Chicago, is an independent publisher of contemporary poetry and translation. Founded in 2013 by John Tipton and Peter O'Leary, in a desire to continue the work of the Chicago Poetry Project, an independent poetry reading series founded by Tipton in 2001, we publish a few titles a year.

Verge Books is a non-profit publisher [501(3)c]. We encourage donations! Contributions to Verge are tax deductible and enable the press to continue to publish poetry and translation.
